As with every war, there were thousands who endured the rigours of World War II and who were left injured and traumatised; it was thus that the ministry of Woodlands House of Prayer started in London over 75 years ago. The ministry continues today amidst the peaceful beauty of the historic setting of Brunel Manor, providing a place of physical and spiritual rest to people who have now very different needs.
Whilst the income which we receive from guest covers a significant part of the running costs of the Woodlands House of Prayer, we could not operate without the sacrificial giving of so many, whether it be by volunteering to serve or by giving financially. On these pages you can explore the various ways in which you can support and be a part of this life-changing ministry.
