Friends of Woodlands House of Prayer
In a way the Brunel Team is like a big family and it is a wonderful experience to share in the life of the young people here, through communal meals and sharing spiritually. But the family is much bigger and wider than this, and there are many grandparents and great-grandparents who are part of our community, spread throughout the land and well beyond, who pray regularly because they have the work of the Manor so much on their hearts, having been part of the life here for very many years, a few since it moved to Devon back in the 1960s. To some Brunel has been like a second home and they return again and again, perhaps three or more times a year. Others are getting too frail to make long journeys but they still pray. They are the core of our “Friends” and anyone who cares about the ministry of Woodlands House of Prayer can join as a Friend. All we ask for is a commitment to pray. In return you will receive a quarterly newsletter which will keep you abreast of the latest news and prayer requests. There are a number of Friends Breaks during each year, where Friends can get together for fellowship to pray for the ministry.
We do not make a charge to become a Friend, all we ask for is a commitment to pray, however many Friends also wish to support the ministry financially. Please download, complete and return the standing order form to Brunel Manor (and not your bank). Alternatively you make like to donate on-line by clicking here.
We are deeply encouraged by those who pray for us regularly… THANK YOU!
The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.
