You can be a part of the ministry of Brunel Manor by serving our guests, friends and church through volunteering, in community through hospitality.

Volunteers come from over twenty countries to serve the Lord at Brunel Manor, joining the community, usually for a period of between 3 months and up to 1 year. With around 20 volunteers at any one time, we are always looking for volunteers who want to take time out, to use your skills (and learn new ones too) serving in a variety of different ways.

The areas that you might volunteer in are:

Housekeeping - assisting in the cleaning of the Manor, daily operations of the community which includes preparing guests rooms and public areas for new guests.

Kitchen - assisting in the cleaning of the kitchen, washing dishes, the general hygiene of the food preparation area, and helping in some basic food preparation.

Restaurant - serving guests at two or three meals each day, and maintaining the efficient running of the restaurant.

Worship Ministry - we recognise the importance of ministering to our guests through music, and if you have musical ability, we would warmly welcome you to join.

Team

Throughout you time as a volunteer you will have the practical support of the pastoral leaders, ( Peter and Jill ) who act as additional family, who can be approached at any time of need, even for a cup tea.

Being part of the community is far more than just work, and as a volunteer we would expect you to take an active part in the overall life of the manor, including daily prayer, worship ministry, volunteer bible studies and team times. We also will encourage you in your personal and spiritual development and provide the necessary advice as needed.
Team

If you are interested in applying to come as a volunteer then email our housekeepers - Basia and Susan, so that we can we send you a volunteer application pack of how to serve and help build Gods kingdom.

Your volunteering is valued as an essential part of the ministry and community of Brunel Manor, it is acknowledged as a way forward in providing a place of rest in the Christian faith, and supported in your personal development.
