Some basic information about the manor
to help make your stay more enjoyable
- All bedrooms have running hot and cold
water; ensuite rooms are equipped with
either a bath or shower.
- Bedding, towels for room use and soap
are provided.
- Guests wishing to go swimming either
in the pool at the manor or local beaches
should bring their own towels for that
purpose.
- Complimentary tea and coffee making
facilities are provided in each bedroom
for bedtime and early morning drinks.
- The Coffee Bar is open most afternoons
(3.00-4.30pm) where hot and cold drinks
and cakes can be purchased.
- Vending machines are available for
hot and cold drinks and confectionery.
- A range of basic toiletries and OTC
medicines are available for purchase at
reception.
- A refrigerator is provided at reception
for those guests who need to keep medicinal
items refrigerated. For food safety reasons
guests are requested not to consume food
on the premises that has not been purchased
from the Manor. In particular this applies
to ‘takeaways’ and other similar
foods. Exceptions to this policy are low
risk food items, such as pre-packed confectionery,
snacks and personal diet supplies.
- A public payphone is provided for guests
use; this can receive incoming calls.
- Messages for guests may be left via
the main switchboard number 01803 329333
or fax 01803 311857. Please note that
bedrooms are not equipped with telephones.
- Guests wishing to watch TV may do so
in the TV lounge which provides access
to the free-to-view digital TV channels
and is also equipped with a DVD and video
player. Bedrooms are not equipped with
either TV or radio.
- Free wireless internet access is available in the Manor house reception area for guests who bring their
own laptop.
- A laundry, with washing, tumble drying
and ironing facilities, is provided for
guests use. There is also an outside clothes
line available. Washing powder is available
at reception.
- Check-in starts at 3.00pm on the day
of arrival, and rooms will normally be
ready for occupation by 4.00 pm Guests
should vacate their rooms by 10.00am on
the day of departure.
- Brunel events normally start with dinner on the first evening and conclude with breakfast on the day of departure.
- We accept most debit and credit cards,
or payment can be made by cheque or cash. Credit card payments will incur a surcharge of 1.5%.
- For the comfort and enjoyment of the majority of our guests Brunel Manor is now designated a no-smoking site and guests who choose to smoke are kindly requested to do so off-site.
