The Story of Woodlands House of Prayer can never be told before first turning to God's word in Proverbs 3. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight . . . Honour the Lord with your substance and the first fruits of your produce."

So starts the story contained in Large Doors still open wide on small hinges. Ever since Vera and Margaret stepped out in faith in 1942 to purchase the house in Clapham that housed the trust, much of the provision that now lies behind Brunel Manor has come from the faithful giving and legacies from many people who have loved and benefited from staying.

Along with you partnership in prayer, your financial support for the ministry of Brunel Manor is welcomed and much appreciated. We thank you for whatever support you can give and pray that God will bless you richly.

Donations are welcome for general funds, or you may like to specify that donations be used for a particular purpose, for example:

• Pastoral & Ministry Resources
• Hospitality Fund, to provide holidays for those who could not otherwise afford to come
• Gardens
• Specific projects, such as an en-suite bedroom, or new furnishings

To make a donation please send a cheque to:
Brunel Manor,
Teignmouth Road
Torquay
TQ1 4SF

Or telephone 01803 32933 to make a credit card donation. Donations can be made by cheques from organisations such as CAF or Stewardship Services.

Taxpayers are eligible to give via Gift Aid, this will increase the value of your donation to the manor by 25%. Please ask for a Gift Aid declaration if you have not already signed one.

Many of our guests want to further help the work of the Trust through legacies. If you are considering leaving a gift to Brunel Manor in your will, please contact us with any questions about how to make a will, the types of gift you can leave or how cost-effectively your gift can be used. If you’ve already made your will, and want to add Brunel Manor to it, you can always add a postscript, or codicil; you’ll need our charity number, below.
