We welcome those with physical disabilities,
with easy wheelchair access to most public
areas and designated bedrooms. We do our
utmost to accommodate people with a disability,
and in particular, we provide:
- 4 ground floor bedrooms and
- 2 above-ground bedrooms
specifically designed for disabled. These
have large bathrooms, most with roll-in
shower trays which are flush with the
floor enabling easy access, grabrails
and plenty of space for wheelchairs.
- A lift serving the first and second
floors in the Manor house
- Reception, the Chapel, Lounge, Dining
room and public disabled toilets are all
on the same level, providing easy access.
The main conference room is reached via
a short ramp.
- The main conference room has a hearing
loop system
Disabled parking is available adjacent
to the main entrance at reception. There
is a short ramp from the car park to the
ground floor and reception area.
We
do not provide any disability aids, eg.
hoists, wheelchairs, walking frames, etc,
guests who require these should ensure that
they either bring such equipment or make
arrangements with a local care equipment
supplier.
Brunel Manor is unable to offer any specialist
nursing or care so we ask that you bring
your own carer if needed. Professional carers
accompanying such guests are eligible for
25% discount.
Guests who have some mobility problems should
note that some rooms are accessed via a
small flight of stairs; should you not be
able to climb stairs, please tell us at
the time of booking.
